Welcome Anderson Heights Families!
On behalf of the staff at Anderson Heights, it is my pleasure to welcome you and your student to a year of learning opportunities.
Each year uncovers a child's awareness of his or her talents, unfolds his or her ability to set goals for the future, and creates a lifetime of friendships and memories. Our goal is for each child to reach their potential; to learn and to grow in academic areas and in character. We treat each other as we wish to be treated, and kindness, honesty, and respect are the foundation for all our interactions. In all we do, we strive to provide a safe, supportive place where excellence is encouraged and realized through standards-based, lively, and engaging curriculum, and professional, caring teachers.
Our homework is focused on nightly reading, and daily attendance is strongly encouraged. Please support your child by ensuring that they read every night, and they are at school every morning when we begin at 8:00.
This will prove to be an amazing year at Anderson Heights. Again, I look forward to meeting and working with you.
